granthologist Sage Francis is truly the real deal. THIS is how rap should be... and he's a king amongst even the 5% of those mic slayers

confessional; witty; deep; poetic. master of his craft. thank you Sage

every track kills. can't choose one

Compassion Club Sage Francis. Veteran of the hip hop scene, this release is everything you expect plus more. Although I was not initially a fan of everything I heard initially, the record grew on me over time and I would say it's one of the finest pieces of material Sage Francis has released thus far. Give it a listen, it's like a poetic escape into a sages outpost. Favorite track: Dead Man's Float.

Matthew Brown Wow! Where to start? This album is largely responsible for converting me to Rap music. Copper Gone's tone is extremely confessional and as somber as anything that Sylvia Plath wrote. It's the tale of mankind's isolation in the digital age. It's hard to pick a favorite track. "Vonnegut Busy". "Make 'Em Purr", "Dead Man's Float", and "Once Upon a Blood Moon" are my favorites, but there's not a single bad track on the album. In fact, ever track could have been a single. Favorite track: Make Em Purr.
